Client Ownership & Access

At Touches of Tech, we believe your business should remain in control of its digital presence.

We build, configure, and support your technology without intentionally creating unnecessary dependence on us. Our goal is to provide professional service while making sure you maintain ownership and control of the digital assets that belong to your business.

Our Commitment

  • You own your domain. Your domain should be registered in your business's name and remain under your control.

  • You control your accounts. Website, hosting, ecommerce, email, and other service accounts should be owned and billed directly by your business whenever practical.

  • You control your billing. Touches of Tech does not need to maintain your payment information simply to provide technical or website services.

  • We receive the access we need. Touches of Tech may have administrative, developer, or collaborator access necessary to build, maintain, and support your website and technology.

  • You can revoke our access. Your business retains control over who has access to its accounts and digital assets.

  • Your website isn't held hostage. We will not intentionally restrict your access to your website, domain, or associated accounts as a way of preventing you from continuing your business or working with another provider.

  • You can change providers. If you ever decide to move your website or technology services elsewhere, we will work within the applicable platform and service terms to provide the access or information reasonably necessary for the transition.

  • Third-party services remain subject to their own terms. Hosting platforms, website builders, plugins, applications, payment processors, email providers, and other third-party services may have their own ownership, licensing, transfer, and cancellation policies.

  • Our tools remain ours. Touches of Tech retains ownership of its pre-existing templates, systems, processes, reusable tools, and other intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Everything is transparent. Before a project begins, we will explain which platforms and services are being used, who will own them, who will pay for them, and what access Touches of Tech will need.
